Complete overhaul of an online bank organisation
Context
Our client is a banking player providing online services to individuals and professionals. It offers financing and bank account solutions via turnkey packages.
The challenge
Our client is well established in its market but needed to adapt to a new interest rate environment and face up to stiffer competition. Its ‘Front to Back’ ratio was very high, with support functions that were not delivering the expected added value and inefficient cross-functional processes. Cultural differences and changes in ownership also disrupted the organisation.
The solution
Spirit Advisors mobilised a reinforced team of 20 consultants to tackle this large-scale reorganisation project. The methods used were Lean and Six Sigma. We carried out a complete analysis of the organisation’s processes and identified areas for improvement. We also managed the planning and implementation of this major project.
The impact
By combining the analysis phase, design and implementation of the new organisation, our client has restructured itself to be more efficient, agile and compliant with international standards.
